Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Vinay Kumar is facing huge criticism after failing to defend 17 runs in the final over against the hosts Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai) on Tuesday night. While former Indian Test opener Akash Chopra provided some stats of Vinay Kumar’s bowling in this IPL season, another Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary backed the Indian pacer.

Vinay Kumar had the 2-0-30-2 bowling figure in that game as he took both wickets in the final two balls.
