5. Mumbai’s Pace Attack
Mumbai is renowned for its pace bowlers over the years. The man who set a high standard for death bowling, Lasith Malinga single-handedly took Mumbai on the cusp of many victories. Later Mumbai discovered a diamond in form of Jasprit Bumrah, who is now one of the best death bowlers in the world.
This year, Mumbai Indians strengthened the department even more with the additions of Pat Cummins, Mustafizur Rehman and Mitchell McClenaghan (Originally Jason Behrendorff). Pat Cummins has been very impressive in the recent Ashes series and recent South Africa series.
Mustafizur Rehman is the Bangladeshi sensation who has achieved new standards in the T20 world. His pace variation is remarkable and the batsmen world-over are still figuring out ways to counter those off-cutters. Mitchell McClenaghan who plays all around the globe has a fantastic bowling experience in T20s.
