On Sunday, there will be another ‘double dhamaka’ of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), as there are two matches on that day, the first one will be played between the two teams, who started off with a losing note but kept the momentum on track in the second game, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). While RCB registered a rather dominating win over Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), RR thanked the rain gods to register a win against Delhi Daredevils (DD). However, the third game becomes much more important for both the teams as they will be looking to continue to winning momentum. Let us look at the five players to watch for of the crucial game.
1. Virat Kohli (RCB)
In the curtain-raiser of RCB against KKR and KXIP, it was the partnership between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers which steadied the ship for them after early dismissals. However, in that knock, Kohli wasn’t looking comfortable but despite that, he will still hold the key for RCB’s batting line-up as he is one of the best T20 batsmen of the current era. Over the years, he has been the crucial batsman for RCB as he almost scored 1000 runs in IPL 2016. In the first game at home, if the Bangalore team wants to get back to the winning ways, Virat needs to perform well.
