2. Umesh Yadav – Jekyll and Hyde

Royal Challengers Bangalore this year added the Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav to the roster in this year’s auction. The pace bowler has been on and off from the Indian side and this IPL would be his best chance to make a comeback as he is playing under the Indian cricket team captain.

Yadav started off the campaign brilliantly with the match against KKR where he picked up 2/27. His wickets included Sunil Narine and Robin Uthappa. In the next match versus Punjab, he struck thrice and played a major role in RCB’s victory.

His performance crashed down against Rajasthan Royals in the last match where he conceded 59 runs in his four overs. Yadav’s last over went for 27 runs and it became an important moment in the match.
