The week two of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has set the ball rolling as most of the teams are giving a tough fight to each other and it’s difficult to predict that which team is the strongest. However, the seventeenth match of the ongoing season will be played between the teams who have faced a just a single defeat in the season so far, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Pune. While CSK lost their first game of the season in their last match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), RR started the tournament on a losing note against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). With three wins already under their belt, both the teams will be looking forward to giving their best make their path towards the playoffs easier. Shardul Thakur (CSK)
The Mumbaikar fast bowler, Shardul Thakur is slowly making his way into the Indian team. Being very good at bowling the knuckleball will serve him well. He has played 13 IPL matches so far for the Kings XI Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiants where he picked 12 wickets at an economy of 8.57. With the added international experience now, CSK will expect Shardul to spearhead the Chennai pace attack and deliver as needed for the team.
