2. KL Rahul (KXIP)

KL Rahul played a crucial role in his earlier franchise Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2016 season in their quest toward the final. Even in the recent T20I matches, he has been able to score a half-century more often than not for Team India. Considering his recent forms and batting credentials in IPL, he has to be the most valuable player for KXIP in the series opener in Mohali. There is no doubt about the fact that he will make it to the playing XI and if KXIP dreams to get their maiden IPL title than he needs to score big in crucial games.
