3. Vijay Shankar’s  woeful form

Since the debacle in Nidahas Trophy final on the personal front for Vijay Shankar, his performances in the IPL have been woeful. The Tamilnadu all-rounder has struggled not only with the bat and but has not contributed with the ball also.

In the five matches so far, Vijay Shankar has neither batted nor bowled in two matches. In the rest three matches, he has managed to score only 18 runs in three innings. He has bowled only once and has gone wicketless in the attempt.

With the Delhi team struggling, the axe of team selection is likely to fall on the neck of Vijay Shankar.
