Chennai Super Kings are on the top of the points table whereas Mumbai Indians are lying in the bottom region.  The contrast is clear with the match results. Chennai in the six matches has won five and lost one. Mumbai in their six matches have lost five and won one. With competition at this stage, this is a must-win match for MI.

Thala Dhoni

MS Dhoni has been in a brutal form this season. In the 2018 IPL so far, Dhoni has scored 209 runs batting below the fourth position at an astonishing average of 70 with a strike rate hovering around 166. He has smacked two half-centuries and as recorded his highest score in the IPL this season also.

MSD this time around has smacked 12 fours and 14 sixes already. His brain works like a supercomputer while chasing and he finished the matches with a precision that of a serial killer. Mumbai will have to be wary of this old warhorse.
