Mumbai and Chennai played out the opening encounter of the IPL at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The home team batted first. Thanks to the fireworks from Ishan Kishan, Surya Kumar Yadav and Krunal Pandya, Mumbai notched up 165/4.
