Chahar’s absence

The 24-year old pacer pulled his hamstring while bowling his third over against Mumbai Indians in the last match. He left the field immediately and did not return for the rest of the game as CSK went on to lose by eight wickets. He had bowled five balls before getting injured and his over was completed by Harbhajan.

Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has featured in all the seven games for CSK so far, picking up six wickets at an average of 23.17. His best performance was when he struck thrice against Sunrisers Hyderabad and helped CSK win the match.
