The hopes of enjoying a successful season this time around of Delhi Daredevils were sadly squashed midway through the tournament as their campaign faced some major roadblocks. Newly installed captain Shreyas Iyer started off well but the loss in the last match against CSK will again set Delhi back. In the 32nd IPL match, they host another mid-table Rajasthan. They were defeated by Hyderabad in their last match and will be hoping to topple Delhi.
Here are the five things to look out for the match –
Mumbai Players Against Each Other
The beauty of the IPL is that we see the international opponents playing with each other in one team. We also see many teammates playing against each other. Here, four of the Mumbai players will against each other in a contest which does not feature Mumbai.
Rajasthan Royals is captained by Ajinkya Rahane who is Mumbai’s middle order batsman. They also possess Mumbai’s bowling spearhead, Dhawal Kulkarni. In the opposite camp, Delhi is led by another Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer. Delhi’s opener is the young sensation from Mumbai Prithvi Shaw.
It will be interesting to see who trumps over whom.
