Rajasthan Royal, who need to win almost every match to stay alive in the race to playoffs, will now be hosting the run-away team of the Tournament, Kings XI Punjab. The 40th match of the IPL will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Of the four matches that RR have played so far at the home, they have won two and lost two. Now they face the tough challenge of the Punjabis.

The most explosive opening partnership in the tournament so far has been that of Kings XI Punjab. They did not play Chris Gayle in the initial few matches but he has made sure that it won’t happen now.
The duo is the leading run-scorer of Kings XI Punjab. Rahul with his excellent knock of 84* in the last match has scored 376 runs in the nine matches so far while Gayle has scored 310 runs with the help of 25 sixes. RR will have to get them quickly to stay in the match.
