The opening pair for Rajasthan

Opening partnership is perhaps the most crucial in T20s because you need to make the most of the powerplay overs. That has been the part where Rajasthan have struggled. They have tried various combinations without success.

They have D’Arcy Short, Ajinkya Rahane, Jos Buttler and Rahul Tripathi, all four are openers and it’s the confusion that’s hurting them the most. Putting Buttler and Short together invites the opposition spinners. Rahane and Buttler seem to be the ideal pair.
