The fastest century scorer of England, Jos Buttler had batted marvelously well for Mumbai Indians in the last season, this year a lot was expected from him by the Rajasthan Royals. The wicketkeeper-batsman disappointed at first.
In the first seven matches, Buttler scored only 120 runs without any powerful innings. In the rain-shortened game against Delhi Daredevils, he was sent to open and he just exploded. Even in the last match against KXIP he scored his 51 tuns in no time and single-handedly raised a good score for RR. In the return fixture, he slammed 82 runs and made sure RR had a defendable total.
