In the 51st game of IPL 2018, the hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clinched an important 14-run victory in the high-scoring game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru).

SRH captain Kane Williamson sent RCB to bat first after winning the toss. RCB batsmen dominated the visiting bowlers as they put a huge total of 218/6 on the board at the end of 20 overs.

In reply, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey’s huge partnership brought SRH to the closer of their target. However, they ultimately failed to get that as they were restricted on 204/3 in 20 overs.

The second highest IPL partnership for any wicket between the matches of RCB and SRH. The record is the 157-run partnership between AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli (RCB) for the second wicket at Bengaluru on April 12, 2016.

vii) SRH skipper Kane Williamson scored 81 runs.

The second highest IPL knock by an SRH batsman against RCB. The record is 92 runs by David Warner at Hyderabad (Deccan) on April 30, 2016.
