The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has reached its business end now as most of the teams will have to witness some crunch game in the last week of the league stages of the IPL 2018. However, the next game of the season can easily be termed as a dead rubber as it will be played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Delhi. With CSK have already reached the playoffs of IPL 2018, DD is already out of contention for going through the league stages of the tournament.

Both the teams had a contrasting journey so far as CSK is standing at the top of the table, while DD is as the last in the IPL 2018 points table. The last time these two locked horns with each other, CSK had defeated DD comfortably. However, there is no doubt about the fact that both the teams do have some surprise packages in their respective squads who can single-handedly take the game away from any opposition. Abhishek Sharma (DD)

With chances of qualifying for the playoffs being non-existent, DD in the last match experimented with young players. One of the debutants who got to play was the 17-year old Abhishek Sharma. The lad had captained India under-19 team for a while and batted brilliantly. In the last match against RCB, he came out to bat when the team was at 120/4 in 15 overs. Abhishek shocked everyone pleasantly as he scored a quick 46(19) with 3 fours and 4 sixes which included two back-to-back sixes to Tim Southee.
