Vijay Shankar-Harshal Patel’s partnership

At one stage, DD was struggling on 97/5 in 14.4 overs. While CSK was thinking to restrict them for a low total, Vijay Shankar and Harshal Patel provided an important unbroken 65-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

At the end of that innings, both the batsmen were unbeaten on 36 runs but Harshal Patel faced only 16 deliveries while Vijay Shankar faced 28 balls. Their brilliant partnership rescued the team as DD achieved a good total on that tough batting pitch.
