During the 46th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Pune, Chennai Super Kings’ MS Dhoni gave Ravindra Jadeja a fright on the ground.
Earlier Dhoni had won the toss and chose to field. Both teams made a solitary change to their playing eleven. Chennai Super Kings included Deepak Chahar in place of Karn Sharma. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad brought in Deepak Hooda in place of Yusuf Pathan.
It happened on the last delivery of the seventh over when Shikhar Dhawan gently played a Harbhajan Singh delivery on the leg-side. For a moment, it appeared that Dhawan and Kane Williamson were keen on running the second run but settled for the single.
Ravindra Jadeja, who was fielding at deep mid-wicket, was running in from his position to collect the ball. However, wicket-keeper Dhoni reached the ball before Jadeja, giving Jadeja a fright and all the viewers a moment to discuss about.
