During the 52nd match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Delhi, Chennai Super Kings’ Lungi Ngidi dismissed the two set batsmen in an over to dent the home team.

Earlier Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of Chennai Super Kings, won the toss and chose to field. Chennai Super Kings included Lungi Ngidi into their playing eleven in place of David Willey. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils included Glenn Maxwell and Avesh Khan in place of Jason Roy and Junior Dala.

Having lost Prithvi Shaw (17) in the powerplay, Delhi Daredevils recovered well mostly due to a 54-run partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant. Ngidi, who had opened the bowling for his team, was bowling his second over when he took two wickets.

On the third delivery of the 11th over, Iyer tried to cut a Ngidi delivery. The ball was aimed at the stumps and once the batsman missed his shot, it was always going to hit the stumps and which it did. Iyer scored 19 (22) with the help of three fours. Watch the video:

On the last ball of the over, Pant’s attempt to slog the ball over the deep mid-wicket saw him slicing the ball to Dwayne Bravo at third man. He ended up scoring 38 (26) with the help of three fours and two sixes. Watch the video:
