Royal Challengers Bangalore hugely disappointed in this tournament as they finished at the sixth position in the points table with 12 points. The RCB team failed to showcase a good team game and that resulted in only six victories for them in this season. They had very poor start as they won only two games in their first seven games. In the very end stage, they achieved some consecutive victories but just failed to qualify for the playoffs.
Batting: The team was too dependent on the skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. Most of the other batsmen failed to take enough responsibilities during the tournament.
Bowling: Pacer Umesh Yadav was brilliant with the new ball but most of the other bowlers failed poorly. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal hugely disappointed in this tournament.
