- Kolkata Knight Riders (7.5/10)

The two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders had a good tournament in IPL 2018. They seemed a good team and had a healthy mixture of the youngster and experienced cricketers on the field. KKR finished at the third place in the tournament after losing in the Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Earlier, they earned a spot in the playoffs after finishing at the third position in the points table with 16 points (won 8 games).
Batting: Opener Chris Lynn was consistent from the second half while another opener Sunil Narine provided some important firing start that hugely benefited the team. Skipper Dinesh Karthik took the major responsibility and succeeded in the finishing role too. Young Shubman Gill impressed with his mature batting technique while Nitish Rana and Andre Russell played some memorable knocks. In the simple word, their batting was excellent.
Bowling: The spin-trio Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav and Piyush Chawla created a lethal partnership. The inexperienced pacers like Shivam Mani and Prasidh Krishna were very impressive but the senior and experienced pacers disappointed very much.
