Sunrisers Hyderabad was a great team in IPL 2018. They finished as a runner-up after losing the final game against Chennai Super Kings. SRH was the dominant team in the league stage where they claimed a consecutive six victories and finished on the top of the points table with a total of 18 points (9 victories). They only seemed weak against CSK as they lost all four games against the IPL 2018 champions.
Batting: Skipper Kane Williamson played a big role for the Hyderabad franchise in this season. He was the most runs scorer in this season and took major responsibility. Opener Shikhar Dhawan performed well but sometimes he failed consistently. The middle-order batting was very inconsistent and failed to take their responsibilities.
Bowling: SRH was one of the best bowling teams in the IPL history. Siddarth Kaul and Rashid Khan led the bowling side while other bowlers played the good supporting roles. They consistently defended some low totals which were really impressive. However, in the late stage, some bowlers little bit struggled to showcase their dominant performances.
