During the 20th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings’ Ravindra Jadeja grabbed a brilliant catch to dismiss the opposition captain in Kane Williamson.
In a 183-run chase, Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to get off to a start that they would have liked in the first place. It was a 79-run partnership between Williamson and Yusuf Pathan which brought back Sunrisers Hyderabad into the chase.
The impact of the partnership was to an extent that they seemed to chase down the target. Williamson per se was as brutal as a batsman can get with his class. However, his wicket again brought the match in the balance.
It happened on the last delivery of the 18th over when Williamson hit a Dwayne Bravo delivery high in the air. Jadeja, who was fielding at long on, ran forward and dived at the right time to affect the dismissal. In which a blinder of a catch, it ended exceptional innings.
Williamson ended up scoring 84 (51) with the help of five fours and five sixes. Watch the full video:
