Jos Buttler continued his incredible run of form since he started opening for Rajasthan Royals and tonight he went one step ahead. Jos Buttler with his heroic 95 runs from 60 balls with 11 fours and two sixes guided RR home and scripted one of the most brilliant finish. He did offer one chance to the Captain Cool to dismiss him but contrary to the expectations, MS Dhoni dropped his catch and Jos continued his merry way.

The 18th over was handed to Chennai’s expert bowler at the death, Dwayne Bravo. His first two overs yielded only nine runs and when his over began RR needed 38 from the last three overs. First two balls to Buttler gave RR only two runs. Binny then smacked the next ball for a six and was out while attempting the same again. Buttler hogged the strike.

He took another brace to deep square leg and now only one ball in the over was remaining. The last ball, Buttler decided to get the ramp shot out but failed to make the proper connection. The ball lobbed softly towards the leg side and went to the diving Dhoni. MSD made an attempt but the ball fell out. Jos Buttler then single-handedly scored 12 runs required in the last over.

Rajasthan Royals now have 10 points in their account and are tied for a position with Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. All three teams have five wins and six losses from their 11 matches. CSk meanwhile stays on the second spot with 14 points from their seven wins.
