During the first Qualifier of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Mumbai, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Siddarth Kaul bagged two wickets in two balls to put the opposition team on the back foot in the powerplay.

After Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and put Sunrisers Hyderabad into bat, they scored 139-7 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. For them posting a decent total was possible due to Carlos Brathwaite’s onslaught in the slog overs.

In the second innings, Bhuvneshwar Kumar drew first blood as he dismissed Shane Watson (0) in the first over itself. Suresh Raina had walked in at No. 3. Just when he was looking to take the bowlers, Kaul dismissed him.

Kaul was introduced into the attack as the first-change bowler in the fourth over. In his first over, he conceded four runs and picked up two wickets to dominate the opposition.

On the third delivery of the fourth over, Raina shuffled way too much to the extent that he was bowled round his legs. He ended up scoring 22 (13) with the help of three fours. Watch the video:

On the following delivery, Kaul bowled Rayudu on the first ball after bowling a Jaffa to the in-form batsman. The ball was dipping on the batsman and swung at the right moment to beat the outside part of Rayudu’s bat. Watch the video:
