Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had won their first two games of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a nail-biting finish. After having audacious celebrations and celebration after finishing at the right end of a humdinger against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings had to endure a painful on Wednesday.

Suresh Raina

It was a day on which its remaining six home matches of CSK in IPL 2018 had to be shifted out of the Chennai as it has been now shifted to Pune. But, the latest news regarding one of the CSK players is even worse as it is Suresh Raina’s fitness. He is out of cricket for the coming 10 days and will miss the side’s next two matches.

However, Suresh hadn’t played well in the first two game, as he scored just four against Mumbai Indians and 14 on Tuesday against Knight Riders.

CSK’s most productive batsman suffered a calf injury during the game against the Knight Riders.

The franchise has already lost Kedar Jadhav for the entire competition owing to a hamstring injury and David Willey will be replacing him. And its experienced opener M. Vijay is recovering from sore ribs. The fitness issues are mounting for CSK even if the side has won both its opening two matches and both thrillers.
