The 20-year-old left-handed wicketkeeper-batsman batted impressively in this season. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 684 runs in this season with the average of 52.61 and strike-rate of an impressive 173.60. He won the emerging player award of this season for his brilliant performances.

The young player was too consistent with the bat. Pant scored one century and five half-centuries in this season. His best knock was 128* against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Delhi and that was also the highest individual knock in this season.
