With the end of the fourth week of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), it’s still difficult to guess which team is the clear favorite in this season. However, the comeback team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is leading the charts with six wins already under their belt. On the batting front, Ambati Rayudu is again leading the table with 391 runs in 9 innings at a strike rate of 154, while on the front, surprisingly, the southpaw pacer, Trent Boult is donning the purple cap as he has scalped 13 wickets and maintained an economy of 9 in first 9 games.
Apart from batting and bowling, fielding has also been phenomenal from almost all the team in the second week of the tournament as well. Let us have a look at fives of the best catches of the second week of IPL 2018. (P.S – It was difficult to choose just five).
1. Colin Munro (DD vs RR)
When Rajasthan was looking to get back into the game, Trent Boult produced a dismissal. It was a change of pace from Boult and Sanju Samson had hit the ball into the stratosphere, thankfully it came down and Colin Munro takes a really good catch at cow corner. Samson’s timing of the shot was dismal, he lofts it in the air and was clearly caught by the Kiwi opener in the deep. Munro swirled under the bowl and then positioned himself under the trajectory with a last-minute adjustment. Here is the video of the catch:
