During the 24th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Bengaluru, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Yuzvendra Chahal foxed Sam Billings with an orthodox leg-spin delivery.

After Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and put the home team in to bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 205-8 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Their innings was powered by AB de Villiers in its true sense, who ended up scoring his 25th IPL half-century.

In the second innings, Chennai Super Kings did not get off to an excellent start as Shane Watson took the long walk to the pavilion in the first over itself. Having lost Suresh Raina as well, they were 55-2 by the end of the powerplay.

Billings, who came in to bat at No. 4 in the sixth over, came down the track on the second delivery of the following over only to be beaten all ends up by a Chahal delivery. His attempt to play he ball on the leg side saw the ball turning past his bat on its way to de Kock behind the stumps, who easily completed the stumping. He ended up scoring 9 (7) with the help of two fours.
