The 2019 IPL is on track and just a few days are left for its 12th edition to launch out with the opening clash itself will catch the eye of many users as defending Champions Chennai Super Kings will take on their arch-rivals Royal Challengers Banglore.

The teams are being seen practicing at their respective home grounds with their major players of squads where most players have arrived and some may be yet to come due to International Duties. In the  IPL auction for 2019 season, there were 61 players sold out to the 8 franchises and all teams can have maximum 25 players in their squads.

Each team has more than 20 players as off now in their teams. Also after IPL, the 2019 World Cup will be the next mission for many of the players participating in this year’s league so there can be chances the players may be given rest by their national board or can leave from the mid-season.

Also, players face injuries just preseason and get ruled out of the league like the KKR bowling duo Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi have been ruled out of the tournament due to injuries and have been replaced by Sandeep Warrier and KC Carrriapa. Such instances are likely to happen even in foreign players case.

Here are the possible players who can be called for the replacement in case of players being ruled out of the league.

Pujara who has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab for a total of 30 IPL matches and has made 390 runs with only one half-century with the highest score of 51. Pujara who is mostly figured as a Test specialist and the replacement of Rahul Dravid in the Indian team.  Pujara can be the one to be called in to play.

Even former-captain Sourav Ganguly feels Pujara can be the No.4 for India in the World Cup. Pujara scored 260 runs in 6 matches for Saurashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
