With the end of the fifth week of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), two teams have already been qualified for the playoffs and they are Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC). However, DC is leading the charts with eight wins already under their belt.
On the batting front, David Warner is still leading the table with 611 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 143.76. While on the bowling front, surprisingly, the fiery pacer, Kagiso Rabada is still donning the purple cap as he has scalped 25 wickets and maintained an economy of 7.82 in the first 12 games.

Ajinkya Rahane (RR) – 178 runs
Ajinkya Rahane churned-out his brutal best against Delhi Capitals (DC). He was removed from the captaincy and that had paid rich dividends for his as he scored is second IPL century. However, he kept his calm and played one of the best innings of his life. He took just 63 balls to score 105 runs, but his team failed to go over the line. However, in the next couple of matches, he gave much-need starts for his team and RR won those games as well.
Shikhar Dhawan (DC) – 104
Shikhar Dhawan has reached the purple patch as he impressed one and all in the fifth week as well. He started off the week with an unbeaten 54 off 27 balls against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Then, this was followed by another fifty against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). On both the occasions his team won the games as well.
