There is no doubt about the fact Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shares the biggest rivalry in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Apart from that, they are the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League.

On Tuesday, the scheduled for the first two weeks of IPL 2019 was revealed and according to that MI will lock horns with CSK on 3rd April in Mumbai, they posted about the same on their social media page and the post read, “This IPL rivalry has a different fan base’.

CSK was quick to respond to that and it seemed they were cheeky in their response as they said, “Can’t agree more! And it’s mostly #Yellove! 💛😉#WhistlePodu”

The defending champions seem to be quite in the mood as the franchise also got engaged in a lovable banter with RCB earlier.

With sambhar being a popular dish in the southern part of India, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) took to Twitter and posted a question as the tournament opener will be played between CSK and RCB, which read, “A spicy south Indian Derby for starters – but we prefer the sweet sambar…”.

CSK was quick to take to Twitter and respond to their arch-rivals. “But sambar is always #Yellove in colour no?”

Meanwhile, according to the schedule announced by the BCCI, as many as 17 matches will be played from March 23 to April 5, with three double-header days on March 24, 30 and 31.

The IPL schedule was only limited to the first two weeks of the tournament since the dates for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections have not been announced. After the announcement, BCCI also said These are still subject to the announcement of the Lok Sabha 2019 election dates. Once the election dates are release, BCCI will do some changes in the schedule for the first two weeks if required and will also prepare a schedule for the remainder of the season working with the local authorities around the polling dates.
