Krunal Pandya is one of the important members of the Mumbai Indians cog and has been doing pretty well for the franchise. The spin bowling all-rounder played a crucial role in team’s win against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday night when he scored crucial 42 runs, which took his team’s total to 170 in 20 overs. On Thursday, Krunal revealed his favourite Bollywood star on Twitter.
We are talking about Ajay Devgn who is celebrating his 50th Birthday today and Krunal wished him on the social media platform. He also mentioned that he is a doppelganger of the Bollywood star. The all-rounder wrote, “Singham Superstar and my doppelganger Happy birthday to one of my favourite actors Ajay Devgn #HappyBirthdayAjayDevgn.”

Ajay took no time in responding back despite not being that much active on social media platforms. He also offered a double-role movie to Krunal. He replied “Thanks Krunal. Ek double role ki film saath mein karte hain!”

Krunal was not behind in accepting this opportunity and nodded in yes to cast alongside his favourite actor. But he put a condition ahead of him and asked to visit Wankhede Stadium to cheer Mumbai Indians first before doing the role in the movie. The reply reads, “Done! Par pehle aap Wankhede padhariye to cheer for Mumbai Indians phir film karte hain.”

On match’s front, Mumbai posted a big total of 170 runs despite early hiccups in their innings. Apart from Krunal, Suryakumar Yadav scored a fifty before Hardik Pandya’s blazing cameo of 25 runs in just 8 balls, which includes one four and three sixes.
Mumbai didn’t allow Chennai Super Kings to get going from the very beginning. Debutant Jason Behrendorff dismissed Ambati Rayudu in his first over before snaring Suresh Raina’s important wicket. Meanwhile, Lasith Malinga removed Shane Watson as well. It made things hard for Chennai to chase the target down and they eventually fell 37 runs short to the target.
