Flops

Kohli fell cheaply in the big run-chase

Virat Kohli (RCB)

The biggest run-chaser in the world failed to touch the double-digit when his team needed him the most. Virat Kohli got out for just three runs off 10 balls to Sandeep Sharma. He came to bat at number three and wasn’t looking in touch at all. David Warner grabbed a stunning catch to end Kohli’s stay at the crease.

AB de Villiers (RCB)

The only in-form batsman of Bengaluru was dismissed inside the powerplay for just one run. De Villiers came to bat after Shimron Hetmyer’s wicket but got bowled out on just his second ball that he faced. Everyone was expecting him to repeat his carnage that he played against Mumbai Indians but the former South African captain was dismissed cheaply by Mohammad Nabi.

Shimron Hetmyer (RCB)

RCB bought Hetmyer for a whopping 4.2 crore Indian National Rupees in the auction of IPL 2019. But he didn’t look to pay off a single penny for Bengaluru as he failed miserably in his first three matches for the franchise. The big-hitting West Indian batsman was sent to open the batting along with Parthiv Patel but got stumped in attempt to hit the ball out of the park. He scored just nine runs off as many balls including one six.
