Flops

Lynn-storm didn’t arrive at Chennai’s shores

Chris Lynn (KKR)

Destructive batsman scored a match-winning half-century against Rajasthan Royals but failed to replicate the same performance against Chennai. Lynn scored a five-ball duck and got out in the first over of the match. Deepak Chahar was troubling him with moving balls and caught him in front of the wicket on the last ball of his over.

Nitish Rana (KKR)

Left-handed batsman Rana was the second wicket of KKR, which fell inside the powerplay. He was trying to pull Chahar on a not-so-high ball and handed a simple catch to Ambati Rayudu. Rana faced just three balls during his short stay at the crease.

Harry Gurney (KKR)

He won the man of the match award on his Indian Premier League debut but failed to take a single wicket in the next match. Harry Gurney bowled two overs, where he leaked 20 runs to shift the momentum in Chennai’s favour. Every bowler of Kolkata bowled tight line and lengths expect Gurney and gave 10 runs per over.
