The stylish right-handed always looked promising in the IPL but did not really get going. However, this season has been quite different from the previous ones. He has played major knocks in the middle-order and has helped Punjab to chase or put up a good score, depending on the match situation. In 6 matches, he has scored 184 runs with two half-centuries and a strike rate of 138.34. In Punjab’s over Hyderabad in the last match, he scored a brilliant 43-ball 55 with three fours and as many numbers of sixes. He is currently seventh on the list of highest runs scored this IPL.
