Hardik Pandya had a poor day

Hardik Pandya (MI)

Destructive South African batsman came to bat after Gayle’s wicket to boost Punjab’s score in death overs. But he failed to even cross the double-digit score against Mumbai. David Miller scored just seven runs in eight balls, where he barely hit one boundary. Hardik Pandya was the man to dismiss him on the last ball of the fifteenth over.

Hardik Pandya (MI)

Indian all-rounder had a bad day at the office against Kings XI Punjab at Wankhede Stadium. Hardik first leaked too many runs with the ball despite taking two wickets, that too off David Miller and Karun Nair. He gave away 57 runs in his four overs. Pandya let his team down with the bat when they needed him most. He started his innings with a boundary but failed to smash Mohammed Shami out of the park and got out for 19 runs, which came in 13 balls.

Sam Curran (KXIP)

Punjab’s young all-rounder couldn’t give them the required X factor and failed to win the crucial moments for his team. Sam Curran had a poor day with the ball in hand. He gave 54 runs in his four overs while he took just one wicket. He leaked 19 runs in the penultimate over of the game, which turned titled the momentum in Mumbai’s favour.
