Pelting in Death overs

Despite having the best death bowler of limited-overs cricket, Mumbai Indians conceded too many runs in the final five overs. Rishabh Pant’s big-hitting ability was on display during the last overs of Delhi’s innings. Jasprit Bumrah conceded 31 runs in his two overs at death, which can describe what would have happened to the other bowlers. Delhi managed to put a score which was out from Mumbai’s reach.

Top-order crumbled

When the mountain of 214 runs was in front of you to climb, Mumbai was seeing towards their top-order batsman to give a fast start to them. But the top-three of Mumbai Indians fell inside the mandatory power play, which is easy to sum up their misery. Rohit Sharma (14) was the first one to get dismissed, followed by Suryakumar Yadav (2) who was trying to steal a quick single. Quinton de Kock fell in the same over as well for 27 runs.
