Karthik ran himself out in a poor way

Dinesh Karthik (KKR)

Kolkata skipper Dinesh Karthik had a great opportunity to score big runs to take his team out of trouble. But he failed on the big occasion. Karthik ran himself out for six runs, which came off four balls. His team was in need of his batting but he left the ship sinking.

KC Cariappa (KKR)

Kolkata replaced Kuldeep Yadav with KC Cariappa but this move backfired for KKR. The off-spinner was taken for cleaners by Hyderabad openers and he leaked 34 runs in just two overs without taking any wicket.

Piyush Chawla (KKR)

The veteran leg-spinner had a rough day at the business. Piyush Chawla looked hardly effective against the explosive Hyderabad openers, who were dealing him quite well. Chawla gave 38 runs in his three overs without taking a single wicket.
