#4 Last Season’s performance

The Royals were the better team in 2018 having won both their matches against the RCB. While they won at home by a comfortable margin of 30 runs, they visited Bangalore and emerged winners by 19 runs in a high-scoring encounter. While the Royals qualified for the playoffs in the fourth place and got knocked out in the eliminator to KKR, RCB finished at a disappointing sixth place.
