A fighting 31-ball 44 in a losing cause against a spirited Chennai Super Kings couldn’t help his side win, but skipper Iyer once again brought his aggressive attitude into play. Prior to that against RCB, he had scored a 37-ball 52 to give Delhi a 16-run win over RCB. His run tally stands at 427 runs from 13 matches at an average and strike rate of 35.58 and 122.34 respectively. Though Delhi has booked a playoff berth under him, he would be looking to go all out and register a win in the last league match and hoping for the top two finish in the table.
