After qualifying for the playoffs of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be traveling to Mohali to be at the loggerheads with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), who are still in contention to be qualified for the playoffs. With MS Dhoni leading the men in yellow, CSK will be looking to maintain a position in the top-2 rankings by defeating KXIP.
On the other hand, KXIP, who started the season with three wins in the first four games, lost the plot after that as some of the crucial players like David Miller and Mujeeb ur Rahman failed to perform as per the expectations. With only a minor chance of them making it to the playoffs, Punjab should be looking and give it their best against the defending champions, CSK.
