Flops

Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin (KXIP)

Ashwin failed to back his good performance against Rajasthan Royals with another good outing. Kings Xi Punjab’s skipper looked off-colour throughout the match and conceded 47 runs in his four overs but failed to take any wicket. Ashwin was taken for cleaners by Nitish Rana and gave him no chance to make any pressure.

KL Rahul (KXIP)

Kunnur Lokesh Rahul is finding it hard to score runs in the Indian Premier League 2019. He managed just four runs in KXIP’s season opener against Rajasthan and now, against KKR, he got dismissed for just one run when his team needed him most. Punjab was chasing a big total and he was expected to give them a blazing start but this was not the case today.

Chris Lynn (KKR)

Explosive Australian opener failed in the second consecutive match in this IPL. He failed to give KKR a solid start and perished for just 10 runs. After hitting two boundaries in Mohammed Shami’s over, he was undone by a sharp bouncer from the same bowler.
