Former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar, who has now become a renowned commentator has often been seen getting trolled on the internet for his uncalled comments. It seems that Manjrekar has made a habit of coming up with a statement or a tweet that compels the fans to take a dig at him. Unsurprisingly, the vice-versa is also true as even the trollers are ready for an opportunity to have a mighty laugh at Manjrekar’s expense.
Well, in his latest blunder, Manjrekar made a hilarious mistake in the commentary box during the third match of the ongoing IPL season between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Wankhede Stadium. The game was a high-scoring encounter and it entertained the fans as per the expectations. Batting first, Capitals have posted a massive total of 213 for 6 in the quota of 20 overs.

The visitors were off to a disastrous start as they lost Prithvi Shaw and skipper Shreyas Iyer for just 29 runs on the board. But from there on, the match became one-sided. Shikhar Dhawan and Colin Ingram steadied the ship and laid the foundation for the big total by amassing 83 runs for the third wicket before departing in quick succession. Ben Cutting broke the stand by dismissing Ingram for 47 before Hardik Pandya dismissed Dhawan for 43.
But those two wickets weren’t sufficient to break the momentum of DC as Rishabh Pant played a blinder of an innings. The southpaw hit every bowler that he faced all around the park including Jasprit Bumrah to take the score past the 200-run mark. He eventually remained unbeaten with the tally 78 off just 27 balls. The knock contained 7 sixes and as many fours.
Coming back to Manjrekar’s mistake in the game, he was commentating in English. However, in the due course, he suddenly decided to switch to Hindi. And the fans were quick to take note of that hilarious blunder. In no time, they took to Twitter to mercilessly troll 8Manjrekar once again.
