The batting lineup of Kolkata has always been star-studded. Gill played in 13 matches last year for KKR, where he scored one match-winning half-century against Chennai Super Kings. That innings of 57 runs left every cricket expert in awe of this young talent. Although his heroics at the ICC U19 World Cup made him a star, doing well in IPL is something which makes your case even stronger. And Gill will be looking to do the same this year.

The Punjab-born batsman has the ability to do adopt the game according to the demand of the match situation. He can give stability in the middle-order and can hit boundaries at will. Thus, Gill must be waiting for IPL 2019 to show his caliber to the world.
