The southern part of India’s host’s two of the most influential and the boldest of personalities filled teams in the IPL. It has a perfect rivalry between Ice vs. Fire. From a spinner’s delight to a pacer’s nightmare, the south has got it all.  As you might have guessed, we are speaking about M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai hosts the most successful IPL team in history, the Chennai Super Kings. Led by the former skipper and India’s World Cup winnings captain, MS Dhoni has made Chennai his second home, and the people of Chennai have made his one of their own. This stadium is one of the oldest cricket stadia in the country with a capacity of 50,000 seats. MS Dhoni’s team is a perfect mixture of experience and youth. The mix of veterans and beginners.

As the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium has a slow turning pitch, CSK has chosen wisely and filled their team with quality spinners at their disposal. It includes the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Kedar Jadhav, Harbhajan Singh, Karn Sharma, Piyush Chawla, and the South African veteran Imran Tahir.  With Coach Stephen Fleming in the dugout for the men in Yellow, MS Dhoni and Co. are all set to compete and win the title once again.

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru hosts the Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore. This stadium can entertain around 40,000 spectators.  A fast bowlers’ nightmare with short boundaries, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium promises a run feast for all of its spectators.
