Chennai Super Kings
Shane Watson
The veteran all-rounder, Shane Watson is capable of opening both batting and bowling for the three-time champions. The retired Australian opener will be expected to play a crucial role in IPL 2020 if CSK intends to maintain its outstanding record. Watson has been CSK’s first-choice opener for the last two seasons and this season won’t be any different with the hope that he carries his form in the upcoming edition of IPL.

In last season, Watson amassed as many as 398 runs in 17 matches at a brilliant average of 23.41 at a decent strike-rate of 127.56.
Lungi Ngidi
The 22-year-young fast bowler from South Africa was bought by Chennai during the auction of IPL 2018. He justified his selection with bowling thunderbolts during the IPL 2018, in the least season he got injured. Though he got a limited opportunity in IPL 2018, if we go by what we got to see, Ngidi will be one bowler in IPL 2020 to keep your eye on.

In seven matches that he played for CSK in his maiden appearance, the lanky pacer managed 11 wickets at an impressive average of 14. His economy rate (6.0) shows his dominance over the batsman. If he continues to bowl the same way, Ngidi will prove to be the X factor in the CSK squad.
