The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the upcoming edition of 2021 has started in Chennai and it will be engrossing to see how each of the teams finally shapes up. Here is what the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is up to in the auctions.

#1 Moeen Ali – ₹7 Crores
Moeen Ali, who is one of the best all-rounders in the world was bought by CSK in the auction of the 14th edition of the IPL as he was bought by the franchise for as many as ₹7 Crores. In the last season, he played 3 matches for the RCB in which he amassed just 12 runs and scalped one wicket as well.
#2 Krishnappa Gowtham – ₹9.25 Crores
Krishnappa Gowtham, who is one of the best all-rounders in the domestic cricket in India was bought by CSK in the auction of the 14th edition of the IPL as he was bought by the franchise for as many as ₹9.25 Crores. In the last season, he played 2 matches for the Punjab Kings in which he amassed just 42 runs and scalped one wicket as well.
#3 Cheteshwar Pujara – ₹50 Lakhs
India’s Cheteshwar Pujara got an opening bid of ₹50 Lakhs from CSK and he was sold to CSK! A round of applause within the auction room as Pujara goes to CSK as he is back to IPL after 2014.
#4 Harisankar Reddy – ₹20 Lakhs
Harisankar Reddy goes to CSK for ₹20 lakhs.
#5 K. Bhagath Varma – ₹20 Lakhs
K. Bhagath Varma goes to CSK for ₹20 lakhs.
#6 Hari Nishaanth – ₹20 Lakhs
Hari Nishaanth goes to CSK for ₹20 lakhs.
