  IPL 2021: Its Yuzvendra Chahal Vs AB De Villiers And His RCB Mates In Chess

Yuzvendra Chahal is a popular man not just because of his cricketing skills but also his other sarcastic antics on social media. Chahal has also played Chess and represented India at the junior level many times when he played that sport. Yuzvendra lately took cricket as a career and has now become among the premier leg spinners in India.

Recently, Chahal posted a picture on his Instagram account in which he can be seen looking at three chess boards with AB de Villiers and his two RCB mates sitting on the chair. The post depicts a contest between the chess master Yuzvendra and his RCB teammates featuring the great AB. Yuzvendra has always been a busy man on social media and has been sarcastic in many of his posts.

Chahal is a former Under-12 chess champion and also represented India at the World Youth Chess Championship. He always put forward his view that though he choose cricket as his career, but chess actually taught him to remain patient in crunch situations.

Yuzvendra Chahal has been one of the regular bowlers for team India. He made his debut in International cricket in 2016 against Zimbabwe, since then he has not looked back. Chahal has also performed exceedingly well for RCB for many years now. He presently can be said as the backbone of RCB bowling.

Meanwhile, this year RCB started their campaign in Vivo IPL 2021 on a positive note as they defeated defending champions Mumbai Indians by two wickets riding on some brilliant bowling by Harshal Patel who took a fiver in the game. Though Chahal looked a pale shadow of himself in the game, he would be looking to get to his top form as soon as possible so as to set the tone for a good season this year.

RCB is slated to face Sunrisers Hyderabad on 14th April 2021 at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.
