Match number 43 of the second leg of IPL will see when Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Rajasthan Royals who are progressing towards the top four teams in the playoffs. For Rajasthan this match will be no less than a do or die, Rajasthan Royals are currently sixth in the tournament with four wins out of their 10 games, and their net run rate is quite poor compared to other sides.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore are at number three with 6 wins and they need only 2 wins out of their remaining 4 matches but their net run rate is also bad like Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals lost their two matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets and Delhi Capitals which has derailed the hopes to qualify while Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Mumbai Indians by 54 runs. Let’s take a look at three players’ battles to watch out for.

#1 Virat Kholi vs Mustafizur Rahman

Virat Kohli and Mustafizur Rahman’s fight will be an interesting one to watch out for. Left-arm fast bowlers are always a problem, and Virat Kohli always proves to be weak against them, be it Mohammad Amir or Mitchell Johnson to Trent Boult. Both the players have not been able to do anything special in the tournament yet and would like to change their numbers. Interesting to see who wins out this battle this time around.

#2 Glenn Maxwell vs Jaydev Unadkat

After the first battle, if there is any competition on which all eyes will be, it will be Glenn Maxwell and Jaydev Unadkat’s quarrel. Royal challengers Bangalore has brought Glenn Maxwell in the team to turn around the fortunes and there was a lot of hope from his aggressive batting style but nothing like this has been seen in the batsman of former Punjab Kings in this season of IPL except his innings of 56 runs against Mumbai Indians.

Jaydev Unadkat has also not been able to do much in the tournament so far and proved to be very economically in his last match by giving 20 runs in 2 overs without taking any wicket. Unadkat will look to change the numbers on the scoreboard to make things easier for the team.

#3 Sanju Samson vs Harshal Patel

Probably one of the best rivalries to watch out for in a match between RCB and RR. Both the players have been playing exceptional Cricket in the tournament. Sanju Samson with 433 runs in 10 games at an average of 54.13 which featured 2 half-centuries and 2 centuries along with the highest score of 119 runs. Currently, Sanju Samson is the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament besides Shikhar Dhawan (454) runs.

Although Rajasthan Royals has lost their last two games still have great innings played by captain Sanju Samson but Sanju will continue that momentum of scoring in the coming games to help the team to enter the playoffs. While Harshal Patel has been the leading Wicket taker in the tournament with 17 wickets in 8 games he has featured in for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament so far. In a match against Mumbai Indians Harshal Patel has picked up 4 wickets for 17 runs in just 3.1 overs and helped his side to beat Mumbai Indians easily.
